This project investigates the relationship between structure, craftsmanship, and emotion through a modular wooden design. The concept centers on how everyday materials can be transformed into expressive forms that balance functionality and aesthetics. By experimenting with geometric rhythm and interlocking construction, the design transforms simplicity into a statement of spatial and emotional balance.

The work is composed primarily of Panel and Pine Wood Plank, materials chosen for their contrasting yet complementary qualities. The Panel provides structural clarity and visual flatness, acting as a clean foundation for the form. In contrast, the Pine Wood Plank, with its soft grain and natural warmth, introduces texture, tactility, and organic rhythm. Together, they embody a dialogue between precision and nature, reflecting how design can find poetry within ordinary materials.

The modular construction system allows for flexible assembly and reinterpretation, enabling each component to connect and separate seamlessly. This approach emphasizes the value of adaptability and reusability, echoing the sustainable mindset of contemporary design.
Ultimately, Wood III reflects an exploration of how material honesty and structural rhythm can coexist in harmony—bridging technical craftsmanship with emotional resonance and redefining how simplicity can speak powerfully through form.
