This project explores the dynamic relationship between body and space through a series of experimental collages that merge the natural and human forms. The process began with hand-drawn spatial sketches, later layered with photographs and body imagery to create surreal digital compositions. These digital studies were then transformed into physical collages, where materiality and touch became integral parts of the creative expression.
My theme focused on the fusion between organic elements and human anatomy—flowers, skin, and movement—to evoke the idea of nature as an extension of the body. Through composition and layering, I aimed to visualize how physical presence interacts with environment, dissolving the boundaries between the two.

One of the most engaging parts of this project was the testing and material experimentation stage. Each collage became an act of discovery: combining unrelated fragments that unexpectedly formed new meanings. In the physical collage, I worked with diverse materials such as strings, buttons, newspapers, and colorful stones. By layering and re-cutting printed pieces, I created tactile depth, turning a once-flat surface into a three-dimensional visual experience.

Initially, I felt uncertain about how to start—the open-ended nature of collage required full creative intuition. But as the process unfolded, I began to embrace spontaneity and imperfection. The unpredictability of collage taught me that art often thrives on chance encounters and unconventional pairings.

Ultimately, Explore Body & Space became a study of transformation—how materials, textures, and imagination can reshape our perception of both the human form and the spaces we inhabit.
